So, what makes Kevin Merino tick?
I am a person passionate about excelling in the activities that I am a part of. I am inspired to continually learn new concepts and I love to create. I revel in conceptualizing strategies and I also crave the sensation of bringing a well-designed product to completion. I am a hands-on learner and I am a doer.
In a work environment, I set a goal to be a part of the cohesive gel that bonds a good team together. I am very focused on planning and efficiently reaching the goals and objectives of the group but I also like to use humor to keep the environment positive and open. I am not afraid to laugh at myself, especially if it can get the team to open up more.
In my home environment, I am a husband to a wonderful wife whom I met when we were teenagers at our neighborhood pool. I am a proud father of two teenage sons that continue to show their wonderful gifts as people. I am appreciative that by experiencing our kids growing up, it has taught me so much about myself.
I am a person that needs the outdoors and the associated physical activities that allow me to experience pristine environments. Hiking and kayaking are some of my more regular activities and I manage to get out windsurfing or snow skiing on occasion.
When I think about the highlights in my life, they revolve around having been part of a group of people that are like minded, sharing a common goal of excellence. I am thankful to have a career that has allowed me to participate in a broad range of activities and I am looking forward to even more interesting activities in the future.
